Refurbishment and redevelopment of iconic former BBC TVC in White City West London into a mixed use development. The development includes offices, studio space for the BBC, complementary entertainment and leisure facilities. Along with public open space, premium offices, housing, independent cinema, and members’ club Soho House, with a hotel.
Brief scope of works
SOCOTEC Building Control Ltd have provided a dedicated team headed by a board director to ensure the effective delivery of a proactive building control service that is on site every week. This has ensured a fast track service on a complex project involving 10 plots. The mixture of new build and refurbishment within elements of listed structure has required careful application of the building regulations.
