Project Overview

Cantay acquired the old Bus Depot on Reliance Way in Oxford, once home and workplace of Henry Taunt, one of Victorian England’s most prolific photographers. Canterbury House, Adams House and Rivera House were changed from offices into 48 student rooms which house students who attend the nearby university.

Brief scope of works

Change of use to provide 48 self-contained study rooms and the erection of a 3 storey building to provide 30 selfcontained study student rooms.

We were involved early in the design process to provide guidance particularly in relation to the existing change of use properties to ensure compliance with Parts B, L and M.
