About Emma Coxall
As Head of Compliance at SOCOTEC Building Control, Emma leads the regulatory assurance and compliance function, ensuring all aspects of the technical service provision meet the Building Safety Regulator's Operational Standard Rules and statutory requirements, whilst promoting best practice across the industry. She brings extensive experience in compliance leadership across large, multi-site organisations, overseeing audit, risk management, and quality frameworks. Emma drives improvement and integration of the company’s ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems, strengthening consistency and accountability throughout the organisation. Working closely with the board and senior technical leaders, she embeds regulatory discipline and a culture of quality across the business. Emma is a Technician Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE) as well as holding membership with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI). Her leadership underpins SOCOTEC Building Control's commitment to professional integrity, compliance, and technical excellence.
