Project Overview

The Levine Building will provide world-class facilities for teaching, residential accommodation, public outreach and social activity. This ambitious development includes an auditorium, five purpose-built teaching rooms, 46 student bedrooms, a large flexible function room, and an informal study/community space with café. It will also create wheelchair access to two floors of the existing college library and an additional formal study area. 

Brief scope of works

SOCOTECT Building Control Ltd provided the approved inspector services for RIBA Stages 2 through to 5 for the Levine building. This service covered the auditorium, function spaces and student residential accommodation along with the improved access for all to the existing War Memorial Library building.
